The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and what you watch is never sent to us.

Who we are
"Atlas", "we" and "us" mean the makers of Atlas, the media server and apps described on atlasapp.tv. You can reach us about privacy at hello@atlasapp.tv.
The Atlas apps and server
Atlas runs on your own computer. There's no Atlas account and no Atlas cloud.
- Your settings, watch history, profiles and library stay on the computer where you install Atlas. We never receive them.
- The TV and phone apps talk to your own Atlas server, not to us. They send us no viewing data, and they show no ads.
- Your server fetches movie and show information (titles, artwork, trending lists) from TMDb. It also connects to the services you choose to set up. Those requests go between your computer and those services, under their own privacy policies.
When Atlas goes on sale, buying a licence on this website will need some details, such as an email address for your receipt and licence. We'll update this policy before that starts.
This website
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address;
- the platforms you ticked, if any;
- when you joined.
We use this only to email you when Atlas is ready to download, and to see which platforms people want first. We don't sell or share it, and we don't add you to any other mailing list. It's stored in a Cloudflare D1 database.
We keep it until we've sent the launch email, then for a short while in case you reply. We delete it sooner if you ask.
Spam protection
The waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. To do that, Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and device. It's run by Cloudflare under its own privacy terms, and it isn't used for advertising.
Analytics
We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't follow you across sites. It also doesn't build a profile of you; we see only totals, such as how many people visited a page.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Cookies and storage
We don't set tracking or advertising cookies. If you switch between the light and dark themes, that choice is saved in your own browser and is never sent to us.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the waitlist data we hold about you. Email hello@atlasapp.tv from the address you signed up with, and we'll handle it promptly. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The waitlist isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use your waitlist data, we'll tell you by email first.
